“The Urban Good News Report” is a 60-second daily positive African – American news feature dedicated to offering affirming news stories on urban cultures and communities.  The Urban Good News Network is an online positive news network dedicated to offering affirming news stories on urban cultures and communities. “There is always something ‘Good’ going on in the ‘hood’! ” — We want to return the pride back into urban neighborhoods. The Urban Good News Network is a clearinghouse for the gathering and dissemination of positive news stories about urban cultures and communities.   Our community needs a more balanced news media presentation.  Positive and affirming news stories on minorities, and urban culture is not properly balanced in the media; our mission is to serve as the catalyst of change to balance perceptions created as a result of media. Our organization features and focuses on the positive news on African Americans and other urban groups.
